Program Mesra Rakyat with a Message from SPCA

Program Mesra Rakyat held on Saturday, 13 Sept, 2014 at Cabin 8, Jalan SS20/14, organized by the RA SS20 Central was attended by Insp Zul Azri, OCS of Damansara Utama Police Station and his team of police personnel, Che Noliza Kassim, Public Relations Manager of Damansara Specialist Hospital, RT SS20 Chairman Puan Eileen Thong, Mr Chung, Treasurer of RA North Zone and many residents.

A very interesting and informative talk was given by guest speaker, Ms Lorna Fisher, COO of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Selangor on the management of stray dogs and cats in the community. Poisoning and shooting should not be used to stop the stray population. The SPCA advocates sterilisation and encourages communities to use the TNRM method - TRAP, NEUTER, RELEASE and MANAGE to manage strays.

You can seek help from the SPCA to manage the strays in your area. To find out more details, please contact tel: 03 4256 5312 or email: enquiries@spca.org.my

The RA SS20 Central Committee would like to express their appreciation for the support to all who were present with special thanks to DSH who sponsored nasi lemak at the breakfast function.

Zoey and Cookie of the Mutley Crew were the star attraction at the event
