RA SS20 Central travels South

In their continuing effort to promote domestic tourism and foster better relationship among RA SS20 Central members, the Social Committee organized a day trip to the South to explore Tangkak, Muar and Melaka. Members soaked up the rich heritage of the South with enthusiasm and excitement, at the same time devouring the delicious local food.

We even had a chance to meet YB Yeo Bee Yin, Minister of MESTECC (Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment & Climate Change) and also YB Ee Chin Li, ADUN Tangkak in Muar.

The trip ended with many beautiful memories and stronger bonding among friends and neighbours. We look forward to the next excursion.

27th Edition Hari Organik

A very enjoyable and successful 27th Edition Hari Organik held at our park in SS20 Central Zone with interesting talks, demos, sale of organic food & produce and fun activities for the whole family to bring awareness and education to the public on urban farming, health & wellness, reducing carbon footprint and practising a sustainable lifestyle.

It was a collaboration between CETDEM and RA SS20 Central and supported by MBPJ and Wellness Concepts (M) Sdn Bhd. The event was launched by MBPJ Councillor, Pn Elaine Nathaniel.

RA SS20 Central managed a stall selling lemongrass drinks, blue pea flower drinks and mulberry tea. The lemongrass, blue pea flowers and mulberry leaves were all homegrown by our residents. Compost produced from our food waste composter were distributed to visitors. A tour was conducted to our Xero Waste Station at Jalan SS20/14 where visitors were shown how food waste can be turned into compost within 24 hrs.
