Security Alert - The intruder was a woman

Sunday, 20 March 2016
At about 3:40 am, a woman entered Central Zone Road 13, probably from Road 11 between the houses and walked along Road 13 heading towards Road 12. This intruder was observed by our cctv to have successfully entered the porch of two houses.

In the second house, the intruder left her pair of sandals but stole a pair of ladies' shoes. The house owner discovered this incident in the morning. The shoe cupboard was left opened and an umbrella was also taken. She also changed her top from black to a pink coloured blouse/shirt

Before she entered our area, we observed from the cctv our guard doing their patrol. Also, earlier, the police patrol car was also going round our area.

From this incident, we recommend that:
1) you use a padlock to lock your auto-gate (or manual gate) at night. Auto-gates sometimes do not close properly; and

2) if you notice or encounter anyone (male or female) or anything suspicious, please call direct to the Damansara Utama Police station at 03-77222222. Ask them to send their MPV (Police cars) to investigate.

Get creative with newspapers

Today, Earth is filled with a lot of garbage and landfills are getting scarce.

In end 2014, the RA SS20 Central Environmental Committee started composting and placed some DIY compost bins in the Central Zone field to encourage residents to compost their kitchen waste.

Recently, the Environmental Committee and the Social Committee took another sustainable step by reusing old newspapers and magazines.

The members got together at Hui SK's (RA Secretary) house and made gift bags out of old newspapers/magazines to hold the lucky draw prizes for the CNY celebration and door gifts for the coming AGM.

Let us adopt the 3 R’s, reduce, reuse and recycle. It’s not hard to do. With a little effort from each one of us, we can help save our planet.
