Syabas activates Code Red emergency response following diesel spill near Klang Valley water catchment areas

PETALING JAYA: Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas) has activated its emergency response plan following spillage of diesel 10km away from the intake area.
Water disruption is bound to affect more than one million consumers in seven districts, as four water treatments plants namely Sungai Selangor Phase 1, 2 and 3 and Rantau Panjang had to be closed down to facilitate cleaning up activities.

Districts affected are Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, Klang/Shah Alam, Gombak, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat and Kuala Selangor.
Syabas, which has deemed the situation a Code Red, is appealing to consumers to prudently use water prudently drawing from existing storage, as the duration of disruption cannot yet be ascertained.
Corporate Communication and Public Affairs department deputy general manager Priscilla Alfred said they have yet to determine the cause of spillage.
“We are still awaiting investigation reports.
“However, LUAS (Lembaga Urus Air Selangor) has initiated a cleaning up exercise,” she said.

Attempted robbery

25 Aug, 8:21 pm at  Jalan SS20/14 - Attempted robbery.

A couple parked their car by the road and was walking back to their house when 2 Indians came on a motorbike (one older man and one very young man, older Indian wearing a stripe shirt).

The motorbike made a U-turn. The resident of the house was closing the gate manually when the older Indian man came with a parang and tried to push in.

The man shouted, neighbours were alerted and came out from their homes. Some of the neighbours also shouted.
This frightened the suspects and they went off. Very lucky, no one was hurt and nothing was stolen.

Goodbye cholesterol, blood glucose, lipids and triglycerides

Article contributed by Mr. Chung

For those who believe in alternative medicines.

Some years ago, a former professor of mine showed me a blood test, what I saw impressed me.
The five key blood parameters, i.e. urea, cholesterol, blood glucose, lipids and triglycerides had values which far exceeded permitted levels. Commented that the person with those in dices should already be dead or, if alive, this would be just out of stubbornness. The teacher then showed the name of the patient who until then had been hidden by his hand. The patient was himself!

I was dumbfounded! And I said: "But how? And what did you do?".
With a smile he introduced me to another sheet analysis, saying: "Now, look at this, compare the values of the parameters and see the dates."
That's what I did. The parameter values were clearly within the recommended range, the blood was perfect, flawless, but the surprise increased when I looked dates, the difference was only a month (between the two analysis of the same person)!

I asked: "How could it? This is literally a miracle!"
Calmly, he replied that the miracle was due to her doctor, who suggested treatment obtained from another doctor friend. This treatment has been used by myself, several times, with impressive results.

Approximately once a year, do analysis of my blood, and if either is present tendency to breakdown, return immediately to repeat this process. I suggest that you try.
Here's the SECRET: weekly for 4 weeks, buy at the fair or supermarket, pumpkin pieces. Should not be the pumpkin squash and pumpkin rather large, which is usually used to make candy. Daily, peel 100 grams of pumpkin, place the pieces in a blender (raw), along with water (WATER ONLY!), And mix well, making a vitamin pumpkin with water.

Take this vitamin fasting, 15-20 minutes before breakfast (breakfast / breakfast). Do this for a month, every time your blood needs to be corrected.
Can control the outcome, making analysis before and after treatment with other pumpkin. According to the doctor, there is no contraindication, because it is just a natural vegetable and water (do not use sugar!).

The teacher, excellent chemical engineer, studied the pumpkin to know which of the active ingredients it contains and concluded, at least partially, that it is present in a solvent of low molecular weight cholesterol: cholesterol more harmful and dangerous - LDL. During the first week, urine has a large amount of LDL (low molecular weight), which results in cleaning of arteries, including the brain, thereby increasing the person's memory.

Look out for a group Chinese youngsters in a white Toyota ..

At around 12.30 p.m. just now, a group of chinese youngsters ( prob early twenties) came to the front of my house. One of them got down and looked at that metal drain cover between my house and my neighbour's. I guess they have the intention to take it but when I went out, the chinese chap jumped into the car,  a white Toyota bearing the registration number WXF 2238 and the group sped off ( yes, sped off). If anyone of you have seen this car, please alert the others. This group of chinese guys look decent (quite deceiving) so please alert the residents about this matter. I have lodged a telephone report to the DU Police Station immediately.

Be careful - Band of Thieves Striking Customers at Pavilion

Extracted from PJ Community Alert
shared by Taz Lan

Date: 28 July 2013
Location: The Loaf, Pavilion
Time: approx 230pm

As my family were choosing some bread & pastries, came a group of men (foreign-looking, possibly Filipinos) charging through the customers who were queuing to pay.

Then, my son noticed one of the men wearing a black shirt pick-pocketing an elderly man.

My son wanted to alert the man but one of the group members stared at my son as if he would do something to my son, so my son kept quiet.

I was standing outside & saw one of them putting something inside his sling bag but didn't suspect anything until my son told me about the incident.

After they had left, my son approached the man & the staff to relate what he had seen.

Only then the man realised his wallet was missing. Approx loss was RM1000 cash + personal documents.

The Loaf staff said, this group is active on weekends & just last week, a customer lost his ipad.

I had seen this group earlier at Parkson barging through customers. There were about 10-15 of them in the group.

One of them looked familiar like one of the men in the RapidKL bus pickpocketing group (early this year) who punched the Chinese fella who wanted to call the Police on his handphone.

Please beware of this group as they are known to stab you if you try to stop them. Thank god my son kept his cool.
