Malaysia Day Celebration in SS20 Central Zone

Patriotic spirit raised and unity fostered among SS20 residents when they celebrated Malaysia Day singing the national anthem and Keranamu Malaysia together with YB Tony Pua (MP of Damansara), YB Jamaliah Jamaluddin (ADUN Bandar Utama), Councillor Loyis Anak Uding (MBPJ Councillor Zone 9), Pn Naza Hairoman (JPSPPA Officer, MBPJ), Sgt Rahim from Balai Polis Mutiara Damansara, Kpl Harfey from Balai Polis Damansara & other police personnel. 

It was a funfilled day with traditional Sumazau dance led by Councillor Loyis. Councillor Loyis also sportingly did a demo on another Sabahan dance to the delight of all residents. 

To commemorate 'Malaysia Baru", we had street art where our MP, ADUN, Councillor, police and other guests joined residents to paint a small part of the road in front of our community cabin.

As World Cleanup Day happened to fall on 15 September, 2018, we took the opportunity to honour the MBPJ contract maintenance workers by presenting a small token of appreciation to them and carried out a gotong-royong together to clean up Central Zone.

Let's Do It in SS20

In conjunction with World Cleanup Day, RA SS20 Central invited the dedicated and hardworking Public Cleaning workers of Petaling Jaya City Council to their Malaysia Day Celebration and presented them with a small token of appreciation. Following that, a gotong-royong was held to clean up SS20 Central Zone.
