Leisure Trip To Ipoh

9 June 2017

40 RA SS20 Central Zone members went on a One Day Trip to Ipoh, Perak on 9 June 2017.
They woke up early in the morning to board the bus at 6.30 am. See how cheerful they are, eagerly looking forward to their one day holiday, and to get to know their neighbours better. It is the maiden outstation trip organised by the RA.

The first stop was to visit the Gua Tempurung, Gopeng - the largest natural limestone structure in Malaysia. These caves are a breathtaking gallery of stalagmites and stalactites, providing visitors a unique experience of platform journey through rock formations. 13 of the members successful climbed and reached the "Top of the World" level!

They reached the "Top of The World" level

After a tiring climb, the members proceeded to a Menglembu Restaurant for lunch. The highlight was the special "Da Feng Shou" menu or the "Grand Harvest Combination Platter".

The next item on their list was to enjoy the popular Tau Fu Fah ......a refreshing dessert.

Shopping for biscuits and kaya puff ......and to take a walk along Concubine Street and the Street Art Gallery.

When in Ipoh, a visit to a pomelo farm is a must. We need to carry some of these fruits home!

Its almost dinner time. Dinner was at a Bukit Beruntung Restaurant.

The members reached home safe and sound at 9.15 pm.
After a tiring day, it time to say "Goodnight" and to thank the organisers and our excellent Tourist Guide and careful driver for the memorable and successful trip to Ipoh.
It was  an  excellent day in fostering closer bonding among neighbours in our community.
