Celebrating the Festival of Lights

Deepavali celebration organized by RA SS20 Central at the Community Policing Cabin, Jalan SS20/14. This is part of the RA's continuous effort to foster better relationship among neighbours.

The mood of the celebration was set with food, music and lucky draw and everyone let their hair down when Ravi took the lead to dance!

We would like to thank Nemala & Ravi, Dr Guna's family and Shirley for their contribution of Deepavali titbits.

Our appreciation also to Tuan Nik Ahmad Khairudin (OCS, Balai Polis Damansara) & his police personnel, and also Pn Norliza Kassim & her colleagues from KPJ Damansara for their presence and support of our event.

 

59th Merdeka Celebration

59th Merdeka Celebration with Councillor Jamaliah Jamaluddin and Balai Polis Damansara organized by KRT SS20 and RA NZ at Gazebo, North Zone, Jalan SS20/26. It was a colourful event with residents donning the national costume and singing of the Negara Ku and other patriotic songs.

SS20 Central Zone residents celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri

RA SS20 CENTRAL held a Hari Raya celebration for the Central Zone community on Saturday night, 1 August at Cabin 8, Jalan SS20/14.

The rain did not deter the residents from attending the Hari Raya celebration.

Muslim residents added more cheer to the festive mood with their contribution of Hari Raya delicacies. It was a joyous occasion of neighbourhood participation, fellowship and food!

Guests present at the event were YB Yeo Bee Yin (ADUN Damansara Utama), ASP Muhammad Najib bin Hamzah (OCS Balai Polis Damansara), Sgt Mat Din & police personnel from Balai Polis Damansara and Puan Eileen Thong (RT SS20 Chairman).

Durian Party

SS20 residents were given a durian treat from Mr Leong from the Central Zone on Monday night.

A strong and penetrating aroma filled the air around Cabin 8 and everyone were seen to be immersed with the delicious and sweet flesh of the Musang King, D24, D101, etc.

Thank you, Mr Leong for a satisfying and almost therapeutic treat.

Also present at the party were Sjn Zulkifli and Kpl Zahrein from Balai Polis Damansara Utama.
