March 2013.
We need your help to
invite all your friends, relatives and neighbours. The walk is free.

Action: Wear your Save Bukit Kiara T-shirt (available for sale).
We will assemble in front of Wisma Bakti and then we shall all walk up to the Hill Top Guard House.
Objectives of ‘Save Bukit Kiara’ Walk on 17th March 2013
- To send a direct message to the authorities concerned that the 189.9 hectares of Bukit Kiara should be gazetted immediately. The public has waited far too long. (Way back in 2005, the Malaysian Cabinet gave its approval to turn Bukit Kiara into a public park). Eight years is long enough for the authorities to complete the gazettement.
- Save Bukit Kiara from further development. It should remain as it is without any man-made structures at its periphery. We don’t want any more development as it will affect the peace and quiet of the green lung. Dewan Bandaraya KL should reject Berjaya Corporation’s grand plans to build a hospital, international school, commercial area, condos, exhibition area etc on the fringes of Bukit Kiara.Very important houskeeping point: Please do not litter the hill. Thank you nature lovers.
