RA SS20 Central Zone Gardening Club formed today with close to 30 members signing up, including some junior members.
1st meeting went well with many residents sharing their plants and herbs.
Mr Loke brought his sweet basil plant and thought us how to propagate the plant. Gabriel, our junior member taught us how to grow herbs and plants using recycled plastic bottles and Mr Leong, RA SS20 Central Chairman, shared his harvest of mulberries. Mr Chua, RA SS20 Central Treasurer distributed a variety of vegetable seeds. Dr Joe shared a book on plants.
Our lovely and friendly Councillor Aaliah and her assistant Joshua were also present to visit us and give their support. Thank you!
There was a lot of interaction among neighbours, including the young ones and fostering of community spirit. A very healthy activity indeed. Last but not least, everyone enjoyed their ice cream, a treat from our RA!
