RA SS20 Central 6th AGM held at Cabin 8, Jalan SS20/14, Damansara Utama, PJ.

Thank you to the previous committee members who have worked very hard to make SS20 Central Zone greener, cleaner and safer for all of us.

Congratulations to the newly elected committee members.

5th Annual General Meeting

The 5th AGM for RA SS20 CENTRAL went well on Saturday, 31 March 2018. It was held at Cabin 8, Jalan SS20/14, Damansara Utama with an attendance of 41 members despite a wet morning.

RA SS20 Central Chairman, Mr NK Leong thanked his dedicated exco committee members and also the RA members for being very supportive to all the activities organized by the RA. He then gave an overview of the year - the highlights and successes and introduced the new food waste composter purchased by the RA in its effort to promote composting among the residents and move towards a zero waste community.

Minutes of the 4th AGM was adopted. A report and a slideshow of the previous year's activities was presented. The 2017 financial report was also presented to the members.

Compost harvested by our new food waste composter was given to each member who attended the meeting. 

The meeting adjourned with a simple brunch and fellowship among the members.

 

RA SS20 Central - 4th AGM

RA SS20 Central 4th AGM held on 4 March 2017 (Sat), 9:30am at Cabin 8, Jalan SS20/14.

The AGM went smoothly with 60 members in attendance and the election of a new EXCO committee. There was a creation of a subcommittee called Social Connect Group (SCG) Subcommittee which focuses on health among senior residents in the Central Zone.

We wish to thank all those who have served on the past EXCO Committee for their contribution to the success of the RA and improvement to the community and those who were willing to run for office this year.

Congratulations to all the newly elected EXCO Committee members.

We would also like to thank all our members for their continued support to the RA.

RA SS20 CENTRAL 3rd AGM

RA SS20 CENTRAL 3rd AGM

A brief summary of yesterday's meeting.

1. The AGM was brought to order at 9:30am.

2. The Chairman, Dato Dr Vincent Ng welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked his committee members and volunteers who worked tirelessly for the association and for the benefit of the community. He then gave a broad overview of the RA’s current directions and financial health and encouraged more residents to become members.

3. Minutes of the 2^nd AGM were adopted.

4. The Hon Secretary’s report and Hon Treasurer’s report were presented and the financial report was adopted by the members.

5. Plans for Year 2016 were presented to the members by the respective sub-committee chairman.

6. Two resolutions were adopted:

i)    To fill up the vacant post for the Asst Secretary   

ii)   To thank the committee, sub-committee and volunteers, G&G block coordinators for their contribution to the activities of the RA SS20 Central and the community.

Meeting adjourned at 11:30 am followed by brunch.

Door gifts were also given to members who attended the AGM.

RA SS20 CENTRAL 2015 - 2016

Since the formation of the RA SS20 Central in Aug 2013, the committee under the leadership of Dato' Dr Vincent Ng has organized 13 activities for the SS20 Central Zone community to date.. To add another feather to their cap, they have also won RM3000 consolation prize money from MBPJ when they participated in the Anugerah Perdana Komuniti Mampan PJ 2014. 

The RA 2nd AGM went smoothly on Sat, 28 Mar 2015 without any incidents or objections. 

A new committee was elected with many new faces. Dato' Vincent and Dato' Koh were re-elected as the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the RA respectively.

Congratulations to the re-elected and newly elected members. We hope the new members will bring fresh ideas and continue the good work of the previous committee.
