MBPJ will run a pilot programme on single stream waste
separation for houses on Road 14 soon.
The RA SS20 Central and RT SS20 Damansara Utama held their first meeting with Mr Lee Lih Shyan (Director of Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Dept, MBPJ) and Ms Marini (MBPJ personnel) on 4th March to plan for this pilot programme.

In this programme, residents only need to place all the
recyclables into one bin.
Single-stream waste separation is the simplified
approach to environmental conservation and is aimed to reduce the amount of waste
that goes into landfills and cut expenditure.
