Attempted robbery at Southern Zone

Attempted robbery at Jalan SS20/8 around 6:20pm.
Owner left gate and door closed but both were not locked. Robber failed to steal anything and dashed away. Suspect came in MYVI. Owner called DU police station. Police came a few minutes later.

Jalan SS20/8 is guarded from 7pm. Guards have not started duty yet.

Update - Attempted robbery

Sorry, wrong info. It was attempted robbery at Jalan SS20/18, not attempted house break-in.

A couple came out of their car and was going to their house when 2 Indians on a motorbike (no lights on motorbike) approached them.
One of them pulled out a knife and asked for the lady's handbag. There was a commotion, someone in the house came out with an umbrella and hit the suspect. The lady also kicked the suspect. The suspect's knife fell and the knife sheath fell off. The suspect got away without getting anything.

Attempted robbery

25 Aug, 8:21 pm at  Jalan SS20/14 - Attempted robbery. 

A couple parked their car by the road and was walking back to their house when 2 Indians came on a motorbike (one older man and one very young man, older Indian wearing a stripe shirt). 

The motorbike made a U-turn. The resident of the house was closing the gate manually when the older Indian man came with a parang and tried to push in. 

The man shouted, neighbours were alerted and came out from their homes. Some of the neighbours also shouted. 

This frightened the suspects and they went off. Very lucky, no one was hurt and nothing was stolen.

Car window smashed while being parked at Jalan SS20/1 near the pedestrian bridge. Smart tag and 2 pairs of sunglasses stolen.

Fri, 8 pm, 9 Nov
Attempted robbery at house on Jalan SS20/16. 
Father and son just reached home. They went into the house and left the front door open. 
2 men with ski mask and armed with parang then jumped over the wall.
The son ran up to his bedroom, locked the door and shouted for help. 
Burglars tried to break down the bedroom door.
Back neighbour heard the shouts and the noise, triggered the burglar alarm and called the police.
Burglars did not managed to break down the door, decided to run off on hearing the burglar alarm.
Very lucky nobody was hurt and nothing was stolen.
