More signage to be put up at TTDI interchange to ease congestion

Congested : There is a daily jam at the new TTDI tunnel near Bandar Utama going towards the LDP highway.

Traffic is expected to flow better when more signage is put up at the new Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) Interchange on the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP), said Lingkaran Trans Kota (Litrak).
Litrak’s head of communications Shah Rizal Mohamed Fawzi said congestion would be minimised when motorists became more accustomed to the new traffic scheme.

He was commenting on feedback from motorists who found themselves caught up in the congestion after the TTDI underpass.

From observation, traffic flow has improved at the TTDI Interchange that replaced the traffic lights at the junction.   Read more ......

Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn. Bhd. (LITRAK), the highway concessionaire of Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) would like to announce an opening of a new underpass at Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (TTDI) interchange.

Therefore, a new traffic management scheme will be implemented at the location starting from 0001 hours on 21^st April 2012 (Saturday).

Damansara Utama residents want right turn on LDP reopened

DAMANSARA Utama residents want the right turn near the TTDI Interchange reopened instead of using the new underpass and making a U-turn along the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP).


Damansara Utama Residents and Owners Association (Duroa) chairman Rajes Patel called for a meeting with Lingkaran Trans Kota (Litrak) representatives at the BHP petrol station in Jalan 21/56 last Friday evening to voice their dissatisfaction with the new traffic scheme.

The residents are dissatisfied because the right-turn from the TTDI Interchange, which runs under an LDP flyover, had been closed thus denying direct access to their homes.

New Traffic Scheme On LDP From Persiaran Surian

New Traffic Scheme On Ldp From Persiaran Surian In The Direction Towards Kepong Northbound With The Opening Of New Bridge To Kepong

Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn. Bhd., the highway concessionaire of Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong will be implementing a new traffic scheme from KM 4.8 Persiaran Surian in the direction towards Kepong. It will involve the closure of existing exit points from LDP to PENCHALA LINK and Mutiara Damansara/ Damansara Perdana/ Kg. Sg. Penchala. The new traffic scheme is to facilitate the final phase of construction associated with the Package 5B upgrading works and will begin at 12.00 am, 31st March 2012. With the new traffic scheme, the following highway users are advised to adhere to the following:

Damansara Uptown Phase II

See Hoy Chan has embarked on a RM1.4 billion project at the open carpark in Damansara Uptown. Earthworks are starting this month.

It will be a mixed development made up of 2 residential towers, an office tower, a retail centre, a conference centre and serviced apartments. 

See Hoy Chan is also planning to build a new tunnel that will link Uptown to the LDP and a new exit flyover on the SPRINT Highway.

There will also be 8000 covered parking bays after the completion of the project. Currently, there are only 3000. Hopefully no more parking nightmare in Uptown .....

Announcement from Litrak

1. LITRAK has informed that the contractor has started piling works on the underpass in front of SS20/10 on 24/2/2011 and target to complete by 23/8/2011 (6 months) from 8.00 am until 7.00 pm daily.

2. ROAD WORKS ON LEBUHRAYA DAMANSARA-PUCHONG (LDP)

LITRAK is undertaking road works at several U-turns as part of LDP’s pavement rehabilitation exercise. This work will require temporary closure of some U-turns to facilitate the works.

Temporary traffic management and signages to guide the highway users to alternative U-turn locations will be implemented. Highway users are advised to follow the signs posted for a smooth flow of traffic on LDP.
