Disposal of Fluorescent Tubes and Bulbs

Fluorescent lamps contain mercury. If we throw them into the garbage bin as normal trash, they will end up in the landfills and may cause environmental and health hazard.

To dispose of our fluorescent lamps responsibly, you can send them to TBM Electrical shop which is located on the 1st floor of Tropicana City Mall.

Santa brings cheer to SS20

It was a jolly evening when SS20 residents came together for a Christmas eve dinner at Cabin 8 on Wed, 24 Dec, organized by the RA SS20 Central. 

The event was complete with Christmas singing by the senior citizens of SSGC and the appearance of Santa Claus. The children were thrilled to bits when Santa distributed goodies to them. Even though there is a shortage of turkeys in Malaysia now, the RA managed to secure 3 scrumptiously mouth-watering turkeys for the event. 

The dinner was followed by a lucky draw. 2015 calendars were distributed by YB Yeo Bee Yin's office and there were also other gifts sponsored by Tropicana City Mall management.

Present at the event were YB Yeo Bee Yin, ASP Mohd Najib b Hamzah, new Damansara OCS and his police officers, Che Fatin Izzati, PR & Marketing Services Executive of KPJ Damansara and residents from all 3 zones.

Invitation to participate in Earth Hour Campaign

An invitation has been extended from Tropicana City Mall to SS20 residents to participate in the Earth Hour Campaign on 29 March 2014. 

We encourage you to participate in the cycling event as representatives from SS20.

If you are interested, please meet at the Central Zone Community Policing Cabin, Jalan SS20/14 at 7:30 pm on Saturday, 29 March 2014. 

Mr P. C. Chua will be leading the cycling group to Tropicana City Mall.

KIDEX

The KiDEx or Kinrara - Damansara Expressway is a 

·         a private tolled highway approximately 14.9 km long

·         cuts right through Petaling Jaya and runs above many existing roads.

The proposed highway will run on top of the existing Sprint Highway in front of the Tropicana City Mall.

Tropicana City Mall goes pink

PETALING JAYA: THE adage, "prevention is better than cure", serves as inspiration for the aptly-designated Pink Week period which goes on until Oct 31 at Tropicana City Mall.

This campaign is being held in collaboration with Makna (The National Cancer Council of Malaysia).

Rallying to the call to raise awareness on cancer prevention, with a particular emphasis on breast cancer, the mall will host an exhibition themed My Pledge Against Cancer.

Visitors to the exhibition, open from 10am to 10pm, for the entire duration of Pink Week are also invited to participate in the numerous counseling sessions, demos and talks -- all revolving around breast cancer.   Read more ........   

Damansara Utama residents want right turn on LDP reopened

DAMANSARA Utama residents want the right turn near the TTDI Interchange reopened instead of using the new underpass and making a U-turn along the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP).


Damansara Utama Residents and Owners Association (Duroa) chairman Rajes Patel called for a meeting with Lingkaran Trans Kota (Litrak) representatives at the BHP petrol station in Jalan 21/56 last Friday evening to voice their dissatisfaction with the new traffic scheme.

The residents are dissatisfied because the right-turn from the TTDI Interchange, which runs under an LDP flyover, had been closed thus denying direct access to their homes.


Furthermore, the new underpass leading to the LDP does not allow for traffic to enter Damansara Utama. Read more .....
