Persatuan Penduduk SS20 Zon Sentral or RA SS20 Central Zone held its 10th AGM on Saturday, 25 March 2023.

The AGM went smoothly. A new committee was voted in for the session 2023 – 2024. Thank you to the outgoing committee for their contribution and dedication.

Welcome and congratulations to the new committee.

A few concerns on the cleanliness of some public areas were brought up by the members and accessibility to the pedestrian bridge. There was also a short briefing on how the PJDLink will potentially impact SS20.

Due to the start of the fasting month and unpredictable weather conditions, no refreshments were served. RM20 shopping vouchers were given to each member who attended the AGM.

 A) A detailed briefing on what ERE Sdn Bhd (outsourced research arm of PJD Link) has shared with us the latest proposed highway alignment diagrams for ss20 (bit.ly/3LCKuso)

 

B) Southern Zone will now be affected on 3 sides (facing Starling, facing 3Dsara & facing Glo)

 

C)The impact will impact all 3 zones of SS20 Dsara Kim. We have drawn a zone of impact (1 kilometre) from the proposed alignment. We discovered the entire SS20Dsara Kim is within the zone of impact (Traffic, pollution, etc)

 

D) We have an independent property valuer (house price impact) and traffic expert - to give us their views on the possible future of SS20 Dsara Kim if all 3 highway ramps are erected

Description of the early Hari Malaysia Celebration and the the SS20 Central Zone Cleanup Day from Mr Andrew Lee, a SS20 resident who attended the event on Sunday, 11 Sept 2022.

The event was held at the SS20 Central Zone cabin at Jalan SS20/14, Damansara Kim 47400 Petaling Jaya. He also took some fascinating photos to capture the moment.

Bountiful harvest of belimbing buluh from our RA Chairman, Mr N K Leong's tree. The belimbings were shared among our residents. Look at all the mouth-watering belimbing dishes cooked by our residents.

The one and only Angsana tree in our park at SS20 Damansara Utama, Jalan SS20/15

Girth of the tree is 390 cm.

We hope that MBPJ will carry out regular maintenance to protect and preserve this beautiful heritage tree.
