KUALA LUMPUR: About 200 residents protested against the redevelopment of the 30-year-old Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) field and sports complex in Kelana Jaya yesterday.
SS7 neighbourhood action committee chairman Datuk Zul Mukhshar Md Shaari said the residents demonstrated for two hours against the planned development.
"We have collected 200 signatures in a petition to save the people's field," he said.
An objection would be sent to the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ).
