Awesome Neighbourhood

#PJKITA

The SS20 Central Zone community is incredibly committed in maintaining and caring for the environment.  Even the children are very much involved - they did not hesitate at all to give a helping hand in watering the newly planted trees by MBPJ. The children even adopted the trees. Salute to the parents who have raised such wonderful kids.

There are 2 bins provided by one of our residents. Another resident who stays opposite the field has filled the bins with water to make it easy for anyone who would like to water the trees.

Do help to water the trees and care for them. The trees are planted not only for aesthetic reasons but also for health. This is because trees can improve urban air quality by pulling fine particles and other pollutants into their leaves and out of the air thus, protecting our lungs from them.

The regulation defines a public park as “an open area for the purposes of leisure and recreational containing soft or hard landscapes, or both, such as pedestrian paths, playing fields, game courts and playgrounds”.
The regulations came into operation on Feb 1. Since Feb 15, educational and awareness activities were carried out at all public parks in the state. .. READ MORE .....
