A Toyota Alphard was broken into and its dvd player stolen at the open carpark in front of the Damansara Specialist Hospital.

Mammogram - Free at DSH funded by MBPJ

The American Cancer Society recommends that a woman after the age of 40 should receive a yearly mammogram which can detect 85 to 90% of all breast cancers even before you feel a lump.

MBPJ is sponsoring free mammogram for PJ female residents of  age 40 - 69 years. You may get this mammogram done at the SS20 Damansara Specialist Hospital. 

Just walk in to the X-ray department and fill up a form. It is suggested you go in the afternoon as the morning session is always busy.

The average cost of a mammogram is around RM180 at a private hospital.  So enjoy this benefit funded by MBPJ.

Security Briefing from Police - 14 Mar 2013

12 Mar -      A Proton Iswara was reported missing at Jalan SS20/10. Owner left his car at the open carpark and went into Damansara Specialist Hospital. He  returned about an hour later to find his car missing.

Man slashed and robbed

Received email a couple of days ago,


At 7:30pm, man with laptop walking in Damansara Kim robbed and slashed by 2 guys on motorbike. A resident saw the incident, shouted at the armed men. Bleeding victim was admitted to Damansara Specialist Hospital for treatment.

Update for the month of September .....

Crime rate during the Hari Raya holidays was well controlled with no incidents of house break-in. This was largely due to the extra effort put in by the police and also by our residents who sacrificed their time to step up community policing patrols to safeguard our neighbourhood.

But it was not all work and no play.

There was  a mooncake festival celebration at the Central Zone Community Policing cabin. Residents feasted on different types of mooncakes and sipped fine chinese tea while appreciating the mesmerizing sight of the full moon.
There were also lots of rumah terbuka from our Muslim friends and neighbours.

SS20 residents were invited to the rumah terbuka at Damansara Specialist Hospital. They were also invited by the police to their rumah terbuka held at the PJ District Police Headquarters and DU Police Station.

Free parking, free health checks in PJ

PETALING JAYA: Residents of Petaling Jaya can look forward to free parking on June 20 at all parking lots owned by Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ).

That is one of the many free services provided by MBPJ to mark its fifth anniversary as a city on June 20, said Petaling Jaya mayor Datuk Mohamad Roslan Sakiman at a press conference recently.

"We provide a number of free services on that day as a show of appreciation to the Petaling Jaya residents," said Roslan.  Read more ....... 

Community Policing Cabin

The SS20 2nd Community Policing Cabin arrived yesterday. It is placed at SS20/14 just behind Damansara Specialist Hospital.

The 1st Cabin is at the Southern Zone field next to the TNB substation at Jalan SS20/5.

Launch of Anti Dengue Campaign

The campaign was jointly launched on Sat, Nov 27, 2010 by YB Tuan Hj. Khalid Abdul Samad (MP of Shah Alam), En. Taufik (DSH CEO), Dato’ Koh (SS20 RT) and representatives of MBPJ to create awareness of the threat of dengue.
The event was televised on TV3 prime time news on Sat night.

Message - Let us all do our part by keeping our homes and compounds free of mosquito breeding places.

NO AEDES, NO DENGUE.



More than 50 residents attended the launch of the campaign.
Residents engaged in a lively discussion with MBPJ on the Aedes mosquito and prevention of dengue fever.

Lots of freebies such as abate, Shieldtox and free health screening.
Shieldtox products were also sold at a discounted price.


Some residents joined the Dengue Squad to visit common areas and homes in SS20 to identify potential breeding grounds.
