Security Alert - House break-in

Break-in entry into one of the houses on Road 17 early Saturday morning, 22 November 2015, at around 1:38 am. 

The entry was through the front grill door, where the thief broke the padlock hinge. The thief who was on foot came into our area through the Road 17 boom gate and left from the same place. He wore long pants and a jacket.

Owner and other residents of the house were sleeping in their respective rooms upstairs. The thief also entered a bedroom which was left unlocked and took several items including cash. A police report has been made by the owner.

Please alert the police if you see single 20-40 year old persons walking around our area in the middle of the night or early morning, and you feel they "should not be there". In the early morning, this thief will probably wear jogging attire.  (Damansara Utama Police Station - 03-77222222).

In the mean time, please continue to practice individual household safety:

- lock your house doors unless you are going in and out,

- close your front gate unless you are at your porch/garden,

- do not leave your car keys in your car

House break-in

There was a break-in into one of the houses at Road 14 on Tuesday, 03 Nov 2015, at around 10:30 am. The entry was through the back door, which may have been left unlocked.

Owner was sleeping in the lounge area but unaware of the entry. Several items were stolen. A police report has been made by the owner.

From our CCTV review, we believe that the suspect is the person in the attached photo. Please alert the police if you see this person in our area (Damansara Utama Police Station - 03-77222222).  

Security Alert - House break-in in Jalan SS20/8

House break-in at Jalan SS20/8, happened between 3 - 6 am.
Burglar/burglars climbed onto the balcony, then went into master bedroom through the roof and stole 2 laptops and cash.
Owner was not in the house.

Please stay vigilant and alert the police of any suspicious activity. 

Security Alert - Attempted House Break-in

Attempted house break-in at Jalan SS20/1 in the early hours of Wed morning.
Suspect came in a silver Honda City, tried to prise open door grill.
Owner alerted police, called IPD PJ 03-79662222. 
When police arrived, suspect already left.

This is a video compilation of 4 robbery cases which happened in the Puchong & KL area from 23rd till 24th July, 2015.

The suspects used MPVs such as Toyota Vellfire & Estima with well dressed driver like a Dato Sri (suspected to be Malay who spoke Malay & English), 1 Indon (or Malay) & 2 Chinese men with parangs. 

Remember to lock your house gate & doors & be more vigilant.

SECURITY ALERT

The security company of the Central Zone has alerted our residents to be wary of an old Malay woman who goes round pressing doorbells. She did that in Bandar Utama and after that they experienced 6 cases of house break-ins. Suspect she is an informer.

If you see her or any stranger going round pressing doorbells, please call the police at the DU police station, tel: 03-7722 2222 or inform the security guards.

14 July 2014 - One reported case of house break-in at Jalan SS20/4. Incident happened at around 8:00 pm.

House break-in at Road 4

House break-in at Jalan SS20/4 tonight at around 7:30 pm.

A heavily tinted white Honda was noticed near the field in the Southern Zone. It was seen observing the targeted house for a while and going round the field. When the owner left the house, they made their move. Neighbours noticed the men behaving suspiciously and alerted other neighbours and the police. 

The police arrived shortly and found the gate and main entrance door wide open. The owner of the house who has a restaurant in Road 11 was informed of the incident. Confirmed car was stolen but no valuables inside the house were taken.

Latest Update from police
The suspects entered the house and took 2 laptops and the key to the Mercedes and also took the car.

Security Briefing from Police - 13 Feb

House break-in at Jalan SS20/16 last week, happened when the owner went out for dinner. No one was in the house. Burglar entered through back door. Back door was not well secured. Cash and jewellery stolen.

Security alert - house break-in

House break-in at Jalan SS20/14.

Intruder in a black MYVI was going round Central Zone 15 minutes before he broke into the house at Jalan SS20/14. He appeared to be a young man, slim, wore a dark shirt with stripes and black pants, like an office worker.

He parked his car in front of the house, forced open the gate, then went back into his car and drove off. A few minutes later, parked his car further away and walked to the house. Seemed to have operated alone.

Police were alerted about half an hour after the intruder left the house.

Security update from police - 14 Nov 2013

3 criminal cases reported last week.

1. House break-in at Jalan SS20/13.
House owner was away for 2 weeks leaving tell tale signs of an unoccupied house - accumulated mail and lights left on 24 hours.

2. Car break-in at Jalan SS20/10 and Jalan SS20/11. In both cases, the window of the cars were smashed and laptops were stolen.

Wanted by the police

Police are on the lookout for 4 Chinese men in a white Mercedes with the number plate WRN 1618. 

They are suspected to be involved in house break-ins and are armed with parangs. 

If you spot this car going round in SS20, please alert the police. They may also come in cars like the Toyota Camry or Toyota Vellfire.

Attempted house break-in

Attempted house break-in at Jalan SS20/18 - just happened. Victim struggled with intruder. Intruder escaped and left a knife sheath at the crime scene. Suspects - 2 Indians in their 30's on motorbike. Nothing stolen.

House break-in at Jalan SS20/4
Happened at 12 noon, no one was at home. Intruder entered the house by cutting off the 'ear' of the padlock of the front metal grille door. Wooden door was not locked.
Thief got away with cash and valuables.

1. Snatch theft incident at Jalan SS20/8

2. House break-in. Although gated and guarded in the Northern Zone but that did not stop intruders from breaking into a house in Jalan SS20/26. Happened at about 8:30 pm. Managed to get away with a safe and other valuables.

House break-in

House break-in at about 11:30 am on Wed, 27 Mar.

Suspect rang door bell at one of the houses at Jalan SS20/15. Owner of the house came out and the suspect went off and rang door bell of another house on the same road. No one was at home. Suspect (probably more than one person) broke into the house.

Owner parked car at Jalan SS20/21 in the morning. When he came back a few hours later, car was missing
